When sucked, the ingredients form a protective, soothing layer over the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx. This helps protect the irritated mucous membranes from further irritation and allows them to recover more quickly. Isla® cassis is particularly suitable for hoarseness, throat irritation and tickly cough as well as for heavy strain on the voice. The sugar-free throat lozenges also contain vitamin C and natural blackcurrant extract and can be used by adults and children from 4 years of age, provided that children are already able to suck lozenges in a controlled manner. Lavanid® 2 Wound Irrigation Solution
This item has a shortened best-before date - BBD 10/2026 LAVANID® 2 is a sterile, isotonic wound irrigation solution based on Ringer's solution with 0.04% polyhexanide (PHMB) as a preservative. The solution is intended for the gentle cleansing and irrigation of wounds as well as for moistening the wound area. Polyhexanide prevents the growth of microorganisms in the solution and in wound dressings moistened with it. Due to its isotonic composition, LAVANID® 2 is also suitable for repeated use as part of wound care. LAVANID® 2 can be used for local wound cleansing and irrigation as well as for moistening cloths, tamponades and dressings. In addition, the wound irrigation solution can be used during surgical procedures as well as diagnostic and therapeutic measures where irrigation or moistening is required. Applications: For local wound irrigation and wound cleansing For irrigation during surgical procedures For diagnostic and therapeutic measures requiring irrigation or moistening For moistening cloths, tamponades and dressings Application:The type and duration of use depend on the condition of the wound and should be carried out in accordance with the instructions for use or as directed by healthcare professionals. The solution can be poured directly by removing the screw cap. Alternatively, the stopper closure enables aseptic withdrawal, for example using a spike. Composition/Ingredients:Ringer's solution (isotonic electrolyte solution consisting of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride 2 H2O and water for injections), macrogol, polyhexanide 0.04%.
